About Michael
I have been training and teaching martial arts for 40 years. I specialize in the internal martial arts of Ba Gua Zhang and Tai Chi Chuan. My classes are small group or private lessons. This allows me to tailor the what I teach to the students needs. I have trained children, adults, law enforcement , millitary personnel and full contact fighters. No matter what you are looking for I can help you achieve your goals.
I really enjoy seeing my students progress, and get better and better over time. My goal is to make my students the best they can be. I enjoy seeing that happen.

The process of working with new students, normally involes asking the new students questions to find out what they are interested in and what they wish to learn. Mike is one of the most knowledgeable teachers I have met in bagua. I looked for a long time to find a teacher I was willing to study under, and I don't they my decision at all. He can show you not only the movements but also the applications and had a deep understanding of the theory as well.
I have been a student at the school since 2012. Sifu Martin and his school offers some of the best real world applicable martial arts training, balanced with a fun and engaging approach to teaching that I have seen in my 20+ years of martial arts experience. He is very knowledgeable and one of the best instructors I have ever had the pleasure of training with. If you want to learn an effective and useful system, this is the place.
