About Tina
Tina has been training in martial arts since 2003 with the sole purpose of personal protection. She has acquired rank in Jeet Kune Do and Pacific Archipelago Combat. In 2017, Tina proudly joined the ranks of C.O.B.R.A. Self-defense System Certified Instructors to provide a comprehensive self-defense training available for all ages and gender.
“I have trained in martial with the purpose of self-defense. My core training and teachings revolve around the mental and physical requirements to defend oneself and loved ones. My goal is to teach prevention, preparation and action against daily threats.”

I ask a few questions to learn more about the student, what their goals are, what reason they have to taking self-defense classes and adjust training for their current goals or threats.
Than we have orientation, explaining what you will learn, what is expected from me, and what is expected from the student. This gets the student in the mindset to train. We also go over important rules and safeties for training.
Training is hands on. Some skills will come fast, others may take a little more training. But all of them can be performed from any age, gender and no experience required.
