I can't say enough good things about working with Dawn. I first met Dawn more than five years ago when she did my makeup for my wedding. Over the years I have used her for all of my important events and special occasions to do my makeup. Finally, I decided to ask Dawn to give me some makeup lessons with the hopes of becoming more confident in being able to put together both an everyday look for work as well as do my makeup to go out in the evenings.

Dawn is patient and an all around excellent teacher. I have had several lessons with Dawn which included buying new makeup and tools that I needed and then helping me organize everything that I have in a way that it was easy for me to apply what I learned during my lessons. During my lesson, Dawn really paid attention to my learning style and adapted her teaching method in such a way that I could understand. After my lessons, she followed up to ensure that I didn't have any questions and encouraged me to send her photos of myself made up to see my progress.

While I will certainly never be as good as Dawn, since doing lessons with Dawn I have gotten so many compliments on my how good my makeup looks. I feel comfortable purchasing makeup either from the drugstore or a more expensive brand because Dawn gave me a good foundation on how to apply the makeup and make it look good. I highly recommend Dawn to anyone who wants to learn how or improve their makeup applying skills.
