About Callie

I began my Beauty career in 2011 working as a Laura Mercier Makeup Artist. As someone who wore minimal makeup before this, I was shocked at the immediate connection I felt towards makeup and the addiction I had to learning all that I could. As a person who consistently needs a creative outlet, this new road was life changing for me. After working at Laura Mercier for a couple years, I worked for several prestige Makep Lines and landed at my all time favorite product line, NARS, which really elevated my skills and technique. I worked with NARS for five years before I decided I wanted to go to Esthetician school and start my own business in Beauty. My favorite thing about being a Makeup Artist is intensifying what my client already loves about herself. Every woman is beautifully unique, and it’s important to me to help women feel beautiful and comfortable in their own skin.

I graduated Esthetician school from Stacey James Institute with additional certifications in Dermaplane, Microdermabrasion, Micro-Needling, Chemical Peels, Eyelash Extensions and Spray Tanning. Shortly after, I opened B2 Beauty Co. Starting my own business and having my own space to do what I love has always been something I’ve wanted for a very long time and I’m genuinely so excited to see what the future holds for both Callie Kay Artistry & B2 Beauty Co.!

I genuinely enjoy sharing what I've learned and love about makeup with others. I love that I can offer some confidence in how to choose the correct colors, how to apply them and with what tools! I also love that years later a lot of my clients still come to me to either have their makeup done, or to ask for more suggestions on products or to learn a new technique! I have made great relationships over the last ten years, and that's one of my most favorite things!

I've been trained and certified by several makeup lines including NARS and Laura Mercier. With them I spent a lot of my time using my training to teach clients how to apply their own products! I've been a Freelance Makeup Artist specializing in everything from Boudoir Shoots to Weddings for over ten years.

About the lesson

I always want to ensure that I'm aware of the Student's goals for getting a Makeup Lesson. Is it to learn how to use current product that they already own, learn what products they need to add to their daily regimen, etc.

I have worked with clients who have never wore a stitch of makeup to high profile CEO's who wanted to learn how to do their daily makeup more efficiently to look and feel more polished.

My advice would be just to be sure of what your expectations are going in to the lesson, and be sure to communicate it with your teacher so your goals are the same going into the lesson!

What products do I need? This is what I'm looking for, what is the investment in something like this? I feel confident in this area of makeup, but would like additional support in this area, is this something that you can help me with? How long would something like this learn, and is this something we can schedule a couple of lessons for if needed?
