About Elisa
Hiyaa! Elisa Blynn here... I am a creative response unit! I love collaborating and creating safe vibrant spaces for my clients to step forward, reveal, emerge, and to discover their strength and clarity and their voice and embodied authentic rendering of themselves through whatever material or medium they're seeking through which to express themselves! There I said it like that this time!
Here's a bio and a bit of my history and experience!
Elisa Blynn is a multidisciplinary performance artist and transformational creative director. Since 1996, she found her NYC creative home and heArt in independent theater and film, as well as performing in world premiere plays in originating roles. Highlights include working with Obie Award-winning Flea Theater, Inverse Theater, and The Faux Real Theater; LAByrinth’s Lobby Series and LAB’s Intensive Ensemble; and LAVA Brooklyn. Elisa can also be seen in independent films, such as In Vivo and the award-winning ensemble rom-com Chasing Taste. In 2008, Elisa expanded into solo performances that include her bouffon character Femin-Inferno and short form pieces Extinction Burst and the BlahBlahBlah’s, as well as her recent work-in-development entitled Catastróphe. In addition, Elisa has served as director and creative consultant for solo performers developing their pieces. She also facilitates transformational arts programs that culminate in public offerings and devised ritual theater experiences, especially her ongoing program for women called OFf the MuFf and monthly Arty Party gatherings designed to nurture community and invite creative expression.
