About Penny

We often spend the first half of our adult lives helping others realize their dreams and goals. But what are YOUR dreams for yourself and the rest of your life? What do you value? What do you want next?

Is it time to:

- Revaluate your priorities after a divorce?

- Reinvent yourself after a relocation or layoff?

- Refocus your time and energy after the kids start school?

- Reestablish your inner strength after an illness or personal setback?

I coach one hour at a time, always at the client's pace and agenda. As your coach, I'm on your team -- a sounding board and advocte who will champion your goals and hold you accountable to the promises you make to yourself.

My first love has always been helping others see, know and accept themselves for their own individual strengths and values. I greatly enjoy guiding clients to define their dreams, set meaningful goals and live with certainty and passion.

I'm a graduate of the Gardner Institute's Core Coaching and Mindset for Success programs, and was voted Best Personal Coach of Denton County in 2013, 2014 and 2016.

About the lesson

In our first session, we'll talk about where you are in your life now, and where you want it to go -- your professional life, your personal life, your physical state -- anything and everything you want to improve upon. From there, we'll discuss possible obstacles to your goals, and together we'll strategize on how to overcome them. At the end of the session, you'll come away with a plan and action items to help you get to your goal. Three or four days after each session, you'll receive a summary of what we discussed and a reminder of your action items.

My clients include:

- Empty nesters (those with kids heading out to elementary school for the first time, or moving away to college) whose time, attention and resources are suddenly open to new opportunities

- College students evaluating their education options, the financial ramifications of student loans, and a future career choice that highlights their strengths and passions

- Freelance professionals strategizing an "identity" in their industry, and matching it to what they genuinely love

- Middle managers choosing their next move up the corporate ladder.

- Divorcees and the widowed, weighing their best options for a new personal life, new financial situation, new living arrangements

- Retirees choosing how to navigate their "second act" for the most gratifying future.

Have a 30-60 minute interview with them, and discuss what you're wanting to get out of coaching. If the prospective coach does too much of the talking -- trying to 'sell' you on what they can do, instead of working to understand your situation -- you've got the wrong coach. Coaching is about YOU. Your agenda, your goals, your dreams, and always on your timetable.

One of my favorite clients recently graduated from college and found her first 'grown-up job'. She called me to give me the news -- she'd persisted with our plan, and landed her dream job, exactly as we'd strategized. She was on cloud nine!!! I'm so proud of her, and humbled to have been a part of her success.

One hour-long session - $75

Three sessions, prepaid - $210

Six sessions, prepaid - $400
