About Amy
I have experience and training in various styles of yoga and
take a student centered approach to my classes.
I love sharing yoga techniques and practices to help individuals accomplish their goals.
I got started teaching yoga while I was tutoring adults with disabilities. I personally practiced yoga to help calm my mind and body and felt that these practices could help everybody to relax and feel better about themselves. I decided to pursue my certification in yoga so I could share it with my students.
I have a master's degree in expressive art therapy. I am a certified Sivananda Yoga instructor, and a certified Kundalini Yoga instructor. I am certified Reiki Master/Teacher and life coach.

When I meet a new Client I ask questions about their current physical, mental, emotional and spiritual goals, if they have any injuries or illnesses, and their level of experience with yoga.
Then I create a class format to help them accomplish their goals.
I have worked with adults, ages 18-80, with all levels of experience and all levels of abilities.
When you meet a teacher I feel it is important that you feel a connection with them.
