My love for journalism. I have been teaching young reporters since I started in the business and a mentor urged me to pursue tutoring, to continue giving back to the next generation.
I have a Bachelor's of Arts in Broadcast News and a Minor in Spanish from Western Kentucky University. I have 12 years of professional experience as a News Anchor & Reporter

I learn their story by interviewing them. Is their desire to be a producer or photojournalist and work behind the scenes? On air talent? Public Relations or Mass Communications? Then I can tailor our content from there.
Only a handful of high school students, majority are in college.
Get clear on your goals or objectives. Make sure you watch the local news, talk to others in the journalism or communication field if possible. This career comes with a lot of sacrifices and you can cover very heavy topics, so make sure to do your homework before committing.
Receiving links of students performing on-air tasks on campuses or in their community. It warms my heart to see the young, passonate and budding journalists of the future!
