Staci started coaching me when I was 7 years old until I went off to college and ended my competitive skating career. She challenged me to push past my fears, limitations and boundaries to grow as a skater, and cared for me as an individual on and off the ice. Our lessons were always fun and full of smiles, but she made me work hard and sweat everyday! Staci valued the importance of training the mind, as figure skating has such a huge mental element to it, and we practiced affirmations often & with her I built a “I can’t say ‘I can’t’ – I at least have to try” attitude on the ice. I still love to skate to this day, 6 years after my last competition, and Staci is the reason I want to start coaching and competing again. Staci is genuinely invested in ensuring that her students learn the fundamentals and that while doing so they have fun at the same time. She has been instrumental in building my daughter's confidence both on the ice and off the ice. Additionally, she has always made time to discuss my daughter's progress and provides feedback on what she needs to practice on at home. My daughter has been a student of Staci's for 8 years and we absolutely love her.
