About Jahi

No matter the English or Western discipline, I trains horses using a positive, systematic approach that leads to a sound and sane horse.

I draw from multiple philosophies from the classical German Training Scale to Natural Horsemanship methods and teaches these theoretical foundations to riders.

I believe the truest form of training is the strong triad partnership between rider, horse and trainer. I take a team approach to support riders of all levels reach their goals and, most importantly, to understand their horses so they can do right by them. I work with horses and riders who are training in various forms of riding from dressage to jumping to trail riding and more. I am open to either bitted or bit less training, whichever best meets the needs of the horse at the time
