About Anna
At Winds Reach, riders of all ages and abilities have studied the art of horsemanship since 1956. Whether you're a beginner or an advanced student, our focus is on correct basics that allow safe and meaningful progress toward your riding goals.
I love working and growing with my students and watching the exponential growth of their learning and love for the sport.
I have trianed extensivly here in Iowa, as well as in Virgina and Flordia, where I spent a year as an intern at a Dressage riding and competion farm.

I begin with an evaluation of my student, based on any previous experience they have with horses. From that conversation, I can create a lesson plan, as pair them with the horse that best matches their riding abilities and personalities. We provide a certified riding helmet, but students must provide their own closed toed footware, as well as long pants.
