About Vy

I have a large spread out knowledge that could help you with homework. It can go from studying skills, reading, and math (those are my speciality).

I will do everything in my power to help you not only finish your homework effectively but also understand it so you can have that knowledge in your mind.

I used to tutor international kids with their homework and I taught kids my age and kids that are younger than me (around 2nd to 9th grade) at the time. I did tutoring for over a year and it was teaching in Vietnam.

I do a lot of training and teaching college students with college work and time management and also currently teaching my coworkers and other employees at work about telecom and how to manage our interactive systems.

I started since I was little. I was always a leader and I grew up with 3 younger siblings and I'm always tutoring them and their friends and my friends and their friends. It just came naturally that I enjoyed helping others.

I went to university for information systems. I am constantly consulting and teaching my clients solutions to their problems but also I was an advisor for diversity clubs and I ran a few as a vice president. The goal was to teach other students to be aware of diversity. I did a lot of training and teaching throughout my time as a project manager and coordinator of not only internal systems and processes but also about behavior and time management.

About the lesson

I introduce myself and make sure they're comfortable to talk to me not only as a tutor but as a mentor. I want to be able to help them see that homework is something they can do on their own and if theres an issue in school or a mental problem, they can talk to me as I have gone through with that before

I've worked with a lot of short fused students. I have had students who never understand and get angry but also students who lie to me saying they're done and understand and still get a bad grade on a test. As a tutor, I have come to see past these type of things and I want them to enjoy their education as its a blessing and not a chore.

It's okay to ask questions but it's also okay to not understand because eventually you will and if you don't enjoy the way the tutor is teaching you, tell them because there's always someone else better out there for you

I think the most recent event I was fond of is when I tutored my 15 year old sister. She is starting high school and it's hard to identify you're own study ways, and I hoped her figured it out and she also had some social skills issues and I was gladly to help. It helps us connect with our students better that way. And I love telling stories

Details

I do not have a pricing system for my lessons. But I guess it depends on the topic and how long it was take. I think I would keep it as simple as an hourly pay system
