I like to build a relationship with my students. It's important for me to understand their style of learning, whether or not they are a visual learner or a hands-on learner, etc.

When working with a new student, I like to instill confidence in them. I want them to feel comfortable asking me all their questions. I also like to meet them before the scheduled sessions to get to know them. We would work together to build their specialized plan of action. This plan would depend on their schedule and their difficulties.
I worked with students ages 5-12!
I would say go for it! Make sure that if and when you meet them you're comfortable. It is really beneficial for your learning and can help boost your knowledge in so many ways. We are here to help make it easier to understand.
