About Liat
Hi everyone! My name is Liat and I am a dance teacher. I have been classicly trained for 6 years before competing on my high school dance team for 4 years. I was captain of the team my senior year! I have taugh hip hop at dances studios for 3 years and have taught ages 4-15. I am a college student at George Washington University which is why I will be doing online basic dance lessons. Hire me if you are looking to learn the hip hop basics, and have to fun!

I got started teaching because I have always looked up to my dance teachers and wanted to inspire kids the way that my teachers continue to inspire me. Dance can bring so much joy to one's life and I've seen it happen time and time again.
I have danced since I was 4 years old and have trained under dozens of instructors. I have led a team of 30 girls to state competitions for dance, as well as taught classes in a studio setting for 3 years.

When working with a new student I will ask them their goals for our sessions together so we can plan out how to achieve them. We wilk start with basic counting and rhythm, and move onto more intricate combos and moves.
I work with students ages 4-15 years old. I work with kids who have never danced before, and also kids who have 5+ years of experiance and want me to help clean a routine. I have also choreographed for students competing in beauty pageants and other competitions.
Before finding a match for a dance teacher, talk to your teacher about your goals and what you want to achieve to see if they'd be the right fit. For example, I work with beginner/intermediate level students.
