About Tim

I teach the Street Dance style know as Popping as well as Animation dance. You will learn how to freestyle dance and gain the skills and confidence to get down wherever, and whenever!

Nobody in the louisville area is teaching freestyle street dance or street culture so I wanted to be the first to bring the positive vibes and the culture to the area!

- I have Traveled and danced with some of the best in the industry, have been in big local dance videos and continually get paid to make dance video's for music artist!

- I travel and compete in big competitions to better enhance my skills!

- I have an active mentor and am always learning and growing to give back the best product!

Decided to start teaching locally because there is nobody in the area teaching this style of dance or expanding the culture so I figured I would be the first and hopefully inspire and encourage others to do the same!

Street dance unfourtanately isn't something you can learn in school or just go out and get educated on it unless you live in NYC or LA.

I have personally traveled to train and get classes from some of the best in our industy and have spend hundreds of dollars to personal access to classes and mentors and still continued to travel and get actively mentored now!

About the lesson

It often depends on skill level or if I'm doing a private 1 on 1 or teaching a class.

If it is a class I will determine what to teach beforehand and normally operate a class based off teaching basics so they can take something home and get started right away!

If it is 1 on 1 or a private class I will have the student show me what they got, then help them increase there own style further!

Make sure the teacher is doing the WORK. Meaning they are talking about the culture, actively go to compitetions and stay active in the community. Give the history and origin stories of the styles so they and you both know the essence of the dance!

Details

Classes would be $10 a person (open to negotiations and often do first classes free for examples sake)

Private classes are $20 per hour (first hour is normally free for first timers!)
