About Vincent
Welcome! I love to share my passion for music and harp with my community. I teach at home, at students' homes (within a limited distance), and via Zoom. I also teach English as a Second Language (see below for details).

I also offer one-on-one English instruction online. I am as passionate about languages as I am about music! I specialize in teaching English grammar and pronunciation. My musical skills help with breaking down the specific techniques for pronunciation, so if you're looking to improve your English for work or business, I can help you! If you are a beginner, I can also help you start on your journey to English proficiency. I speak Spanish and French at an intermediate level and beginner-level Mandarin, and I have studied several world languages, which also helps in my English teaching. My favorite quote I've heard him say is "I don't teach music, I teach people". It tells me Dr. Pierce is very understanding of people and approaches all of his students as the unique individuals they are. Having a supportive teacher that understands that you are your own complex human makes a world of a difference. Genuinely one of my favorite instructors.
He was my harp instructor for 8 years!! Possibly one of the best teachers I’ve ever had! I wouldn’t have the amount of music skills I have today if I hadn’t had him as an instructor.
