Learn to play guitar on your own terms

Learning to play the guitar can be a rewarding experience that will enrich your life. I have taught kids, teenagers, young and old adults and have seen the joy of playing the guitar provides them. To make this magic happen I provide teaching methods that are tailored to your needs whether you want just a casual involvement or something deeper. I have a patient mind set that works well with children and adults.

I can provide:

• All styles: rock, blues, country, folk, jazz, classical, and bass guitar

• Guitar Lessons taught at guitar studios in metro Milwaukee or in your home.

I love working with new and experienced guitar students and seeing my efforts bring smiles to their faces when the lesson is over. I know then that what I have given them is not only competent guitar instruction but a sense of joy that learning music brings to everyone.

I began teaching guitar at local retail music store with private and group lessons.

I have BA teaching degree from the University of Wisconsin, attended the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music.
Woodlands school was my first guitar teaching experience where I taught private guitar lessons. I have taught guitar for over twenty years at Mass MusiK (aka Uncle Bob's Music). I have also have taught group guitar lessons at Lydell Community Center, Menomonee Middle School and Webster Middle School in Cedarburg.

About the lesson

With a new student to find out what interests, abilities and goals they have and then being mindful of those concerns to tailor their lessons so they can play the music they want to.

All ages and experience level looking for jazz, blues and rock guitar lessons including music theory.

Make sure your teacher is an experienced educator and also performs.
