About Daniel

I believe there is no age limit for starting music lessons. Everyone deserves the chance to learn, explore and discover an aspect of music. I help my students achieve this goal by giving them the knowledge, confidence and drive to become the best they can be.

I have been giving music lessons for two years on Long Island. I have had over 100 students and teach a wide variety of insturments.

I have a Bachelor's degree in Music Education from the Aaron Copland School of Music at Queens College. I am currently earning my Master's degree in Music Education from Liberty University online.

I have also been teaching online using skype or facetime since March 15, 2020, when the quarentine in New York was initiated.

In 2012, I started musical directing at a local theater when I was only 17. I grew to love working with a group and I decided that was what I wanted to go to college for. I found my current job teaching music lessons two years ago and have been there ever since. I am searching for a public school teaching job as well.

I have been giving private music lessons for two years and have had over 100 students.

I have also played in professional rock bands, jazz bands and orchestras across Long Island.

About the lesson

I like to gauge my student's experience level and find out what interests them, or if they have a specific goal they want to reach. I then help them reach these goals by making lessons fun and enjoyable.

I have worked with students ranging from age 4 all the way up to age 70. I have worked with special needs students as well and those are always my favorite lessons to teach.

Look for someone who is going to make the lessons enjoyable. Someone who is firm but not strict or mean. And someone who can cater their expertise to your learning style.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Students should unsterstand that learning any musical instruement takes time, as does anything in life. Obviously, some people are born with natural abilities to play a song on the piano instantly or sing perfectly, but those are rare cases. Anyone can learn anything if they focus and put their mind to it.
