About Laurie
I have been a music teacher for over 25 years. I teach guitar, bass, and voice to all ages and all levels. I am a published songwriter, and have appeared on many recordings of others as well as my own. It is a joy to help people express themselves via an instrument, their voice, and songwriting!

I enjoy helping individuals reach their goals and potentials in the area of their choice. Whether it be playing for their own recreation, performing, or songwriting, it is great to feel that I have been a catalyst in their success.
I teach virtual lessons as well, and currently have several college students from around the country taking lessons. They have remarked that it has really helped enjoy their time between studies, even if their major is not music related.
Music is great for the brain, and helps assist any learning process. It also is a great stress reliever!
I have been a professional musician and songwriter for decades. I have completed multiple music courses in music theory, learning/education theory, relative pitch, and perfect pitch ear training.
