Mike is very supportive,detailed, and most importantly patient. As an educator these are very important qualities to have. I am a current intermediate drum student and I definitely feel like I have learned a lot with Mike. He redirects you in a fun way when you start to trail off the original beats. Also he assists in breaking down beats to a simpler form if you are having a hard time with syncopation. Mike's in depth knowledge of theory and practice are of top notch quality and you leave the lesson with a lot of material to practice.
