About Joe

Greetings,

"These days" it seems that local music stores have all but disappeared.

Making it harder to find & secure a qualified & dependable music instructor.

Since 1999

I have personally evaluated & instructed over 25 thousand lessons.

Focusing on each individuals needs to ensure continuity, enjoyment & growth.

I have taught ages 3-91

It is never to early or late to experience the joy of creating/playing music.

With exceptional cognitive benefits for ages 9-11.

I volunteer & perform at Chets creek church.

I was featured in Ponte Vedra Magazine 10/17

I was personally asked to join G.M.T.A in 1999. And remain one of their original core instructors.

Almost two decades as a full time instructor.

I’ve worked with students ranging from 3-91 yrs of age.

Experience, the common misconception by many beginners is that a seasoned pro is not necessary and they look to any individual for guidance. However, the way you begin on the instrument is vital (In my opinion) to your overall experience.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
How long on the instrument.

Is music your full time job.

Is lesson plan flexible or rigid.

what is there game plan for you?

Do they teach a method that they endorse or are they employed by an establishment where one size fits all.

Ask how long each instructor has been with an establishment. In my opinion, students need the consistency of having the same instructor. Be wary of high turn over rates. If an instructor isn’t happy where there at, will that affect you?
