About the lesson

Hi there, my name is Geovanny. You can call me Geo. i have been playing music for 15 + years. My musical passion sparked at age 13 while watching a keyboardist playing at church events. After playing keyboards for a couple of years, i started playing guitar and bass. During my teenage years, I took private beginner lessons, and after high school, I received formal music Lessons at a Jazz program at Miami-Dade College. I play a variety of different musical genres including Jazz, Rock, Pop, Latin Rhythms (Salsa, Cumbia, Merengue, Bachata), and modern worship music in.both English and Spanish. I've played Weddings, Sweet Sixteens, Quinceaneras, local Venues and at regional events for church Organizations. My musical influences include:

70's, 80's Rock- Santana, Journey, Def Leppard, Europe

Latin Artists- Hector Lavoe, El Gran Combo, Marc Anthony, Juan Luis Guerra, Aventura, Carlos Vives, Mana, Camila.

worship/Gospel- Israel Houghton, Elevation Worship, Barak, Christine D'Clario, Hillsong.

But most of all, i love teaching music. It brings me joy to transfer knowledge to students eager to learn and watching them grow. With me as you instructor, you can expect a fun and interactive learning experience. Thank you in advance for considering me as your leader in this musical journey you are about to embark. Lessons can be both in English and Spanish.

Hola, mi nombre es Geovanny. Puedes llamarme Geo. He estado tocando música durante más de 15 años. Mi pasión musical se desató a los 13 años mientras veía a un tecladista tocar en eventos de la iglesia. Después de tocar los teclados durante un par de años, comencé a tocar la guitarra y el bajo. Durante mi adolescencia, tomé lecciones privadas para principiantes y después de la secundaria, recibí lecciones formales de música en un programa de jazz en Miami-Dade College. Toco una variedad de géneros musicales diferentes, incluidos Jazz, Rock, Pop, Ritmos latinos (Salsa, Cumbia, Merengue, Bachata) y música de adoración moderna tanto en inglés como en español. Pero sobre todo, me encanta enseñar música. Me alegra transferir conocimientos a estudiantes deseosos de aprender y verlos crecer.
