About Jesse
I have a Bachrlors degree in Classical Guitar Performance from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. I am an experienced player and have released three original rock albums from two projects named Civicminded and Lower case i.
Civicminded was the recepient the award of "Best New Artist" in 2008. Lower case i has won regional appeal following from 1994 to 2001 and released two albums where we were signed on to Getgo records. My bands have been opening acts with national recording artists Blue October, Our lady peace, Gwar, Static-x, Powerman 5000, Self, Dana Careys side project of Tool, Dredg and have played regionally at Rockfest, and extensive touring through the midwest.
I am also an experienced classical guitar okayer under the tutelage of Hadley Heavin at UNO. I have performed in numerous recitals as well as two solo performanes in a classical venue setting.
I have an ability to foster individual creativity to my students through learning theory and applying principles to songwriting and composition. Being classically trained is a great foundation for implementing good proper positioning and fluidity classical guirarust. i offer an extensive program based on technique and knowlege of the fretboard for the individual studentvyo engance their creativity.

First off, a good sound technique is vital to becoming a fantastic player. Incorporating songs and beginning sightreading is also very important to understand theory.,There is a large learning curve from a beginner to novice guitar player. Most of when students become disinterested is based on technical foundations as far as finger positioning and proper technique. Once those are worked on congruently with making itcfun by learning songs is a great way to jerp students interested.
