About Gabe

I will teach you whatever songs you want to be able to play at an affordable rate! Pop, rock, country, you name it!

I am new to teaching music but I have been performing and recording music in the greater Nashville area since 2014 and I now wish to pass on what I've learned to students who wish to learn a new instrument.

Music is my profession and one of my greatest passions. I love learning, practicing and performing music and I would love to have the opportunity to pass on some of the lessons I've learned over the years to students who share my love for music and who wish to translate that love of music into musical ability.

I possess a knowledge of a variety of different musical genres as well as a knowledge of music theory that will enable me to teach my students how to play their favorite songs, how to write songs and how to practice their instrument in ways that will help them to continually improve (while having tons of rewarding fun, of course!)

Anybody can be a musician, it just takes practice!

Before now, I've only taught friends to play guitar. The first friend I taught to play went on to become a songwriter and talented singer (he's a better singer than me!)

I have taken several college courses on music theory and I have performed and recorded music in the greater Nashville area since 2014. I am an experienced songwriter and am able to teach students the fundamentals of their instrument, popular music, music theory and songwriting, depending on where their interests lie.

About the lesson

I am an experienced musician but I'm new to teaching so I will be developing a teaching process as I begin to work with new students.

To begin, I will learn what style of music the student wishes to be able to play so that I can gear lessons towards teaching the student the music they really want to play!

Details

Being as how I am new to teaching, my lessons will start at the low price of $15 per half hour lesson. While this price may go up as I gain experience, students who sign up for lessons with me at this price tier will be locked in at this price for as long as their lessons continue with me!
