About Bobbi

I love teaching guitar because I get to share my passion for the instrument and my love of music. I tailor my lessons towards your goals, whether you want to learn how to jam on lead guitar in a band or just learn some chords so you can play around a campfire. Once we get through the preliminary stuff, we'll start learning songs that you enjoy so that you have fun playing. I teach you to the fundamentals of guitar and of music so you can develop into a good musician as well as guitar player.

I work on Zoom or Messenger or in person if you are local. Lessons are $30 per lesson with lessons lasting anywhere between 30 minutes to one hour.

Learning guitar is hard, but that doesn't mean it isn't fun. I believe it is important to learn the fundamentals, however, I look for ways to add fun into the lesson. I have a degree in fun and am always striving to make the lesson fun as well as challenging.

I have been playing guitar for over 30 years and have played in a band, at church, and around a campfire. I love talking about guitars, playing guitars, shopping for guitars, and listening to other people play guitar. My desire is to share my love for this instrument so that others may enjoy it as much as I do.

I had a strong desire to share my love of guitar. I did some reading and started putting lesson plans together.

I have been teaching for a couple of years but playing for many years. I learned by taking formal private lessons and have continued to learn on my own in a self taught environment. I have played with a cover band, in a church band, accompanied singers and lead campfires. I have self taught myself bass guitar as well as the ukulele and have had some beginner piano classes back in college. I continue to learn guitar theory and write songs. I plan on publishing my songs soon.

About the lesson

I send them a questionnaire with a few basic questions on what their goals are and what type of music they like. Then we set up a time for the lessons, I explain what I expect with the lessons and we go from there.
