About Michael
I'm 37 years old and I've been playing guitar since age 10. I took private lessons as a kid from multiple instructors and went on to major in music my first two years of college. I have also used numerous online instructor programs and even video games designed for learning guitar. What I've learned over the years more than anything is what methods work and what methods don't. There are things I learned later in life that had I been taught from the beginning I would have made much better progress and seen faster results than the methods first presented to me as a kid. My lessons are scaled to tailor fit your needs. Not everyone is looking to be the next Eddie Van Halen. If all you want to learn is how to strum a few chords in key we can do that. If you have a specific style of guitar you want to learn (blues, country, classic rock, punk, metal) I can base the lessons around that. If you want to learn everything I can do that too. All lessons are set up on a per customer level to make sure you get what you want with the fastest possible results. I have lesson layouts and itinerary available. I provide material, you will get a lot of paper from me. I also use a lot of dry erase boards and laminated chord/scale charts ment to be filled in and erased for repeat use. Binders and pens you provide yourself. Looking forward to further discussion, thank you.
