About Matthew
I am a 20 year old, self-taught musician who has been playing roughly since the age of seven. Over the years I have learned how to proficiently play the instrument, as well as learn enough music theory to get anybody started at understanding the instrument. I've spent most of my life playing, listening, and learning guitar and I can help you become the musician you want to be.
I have been playing the guitar and taking it upon myself to learn about the instrument as well as music theory since a very young age. I have also been formally educated from guitar classes as a teenager, to music theory classes in college. I also have teaching experience with people of all ages.

My typical process for working with a new student includes familiarizing the individual with the guitar and making sure they understand the core basics of the guitar. I also include documents pertaining to the lessons.
Advice for students looking for a teacher of my experince would be to broaden your musical horizons and explore multiple genres. It is also important to take the concepts I teach and try to find your own sound with the guitar.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
