About Bruce
Hi, I am a friendly, patient instructor for beginning guitar enthusiasts who would like to learn the basics of chord structure, song progressions, and most importantly, having fun with the guitar !
I take extreme pleasure in helping folks to understand, and to watch them progress along the way. I've also taught swimming to infants, as well as music to young children in a circle setting. Seeing others take interest and move forward brings me great joy.
I taught in "The Music Experience", an educational and performance program that offered circle music classes to pre-school and daycare centers in the Northeast US. I have played solo, in duos, trios and bands for 35+ years, giving me great experience in not only playing and building of "chops", but also how to present to an audience for maximum pleasure and benefit.

We will work online via video tutorial, beginning with familiarization with the fretboard, strings, notes, etc., and progress to forming chords, learning scales, arpeggios, and eventually progress toward accompanying the voice on songs. We will also discuss aspects of timing and rhythm to make our playing more musical along the journey.
