About Brent
You don't want to do years of exercises and scales just so you can play one song. You want to play songs you like, and you want to learn them in a reasonable amount of time. I want to teach you how to teach yourself to play, and you come to me so I can help you tweak your technique.
I've played the guitar since 1980. I played the saxophone in school, participating in Concert band, Symphonic band, Marching band, and Jazz band. In 1989 I was awarded the Louis Armstrong award for Excellence in Jazz. I have a minor in music from IUPUI, and am well versed in music theory, songwriting, and advanced guitar technique.
