About Chris

I embrace different learning styles because all students learn differently. I'm easy going and love sharing the amazing skill of playing guitar and piano. I have my degree in music education and have studied various instruments. My main instrument is guitar and piano and have studied different genres including jazz, classical, rock, pop, rnb, folk and many others. I am able to adapt and teach anything my students are wanting to learn!

I have always found a passion for teaching and playing music. When deciding my career path I found it easy when I took what I loved doing and set my mind to getting a degree in it.

I have my Associates Degree from Suffolk County Community College in Music. I am also in my last semester of my Bachelor's Degree from Five Towns College in Music Education. I have played in numerous bands, taught numerous students guitar and played in multiple ensembles in and out of school. I love teaching all ages and skill levels and being able to watch the progression of skill increase.

Establishing the skill level of the current student. After this, it's important to ask what the students end goal is to adapt the learning of the guitar to fit their needs. Starting out with basics and increasing skill set as lessons continue.
