Learn to play by ear, read sheet music, compose, make your own arrangements, understand and apply music theory, and sight-read, all while learning to love your instrument by learning the songs you love.
I saw a lot of people who hated piano, quit, and regretted it years later. I want to help people love piano, never quit, and never regret it.

I get to know what the student's skill level is.
I ask them for a few songs they'd want to learn.
I teach them a new simple idea that helps them learn one of their favorite songs.
I help them apply that idea to learn a few lines of one of their favorite songs.
I've worked with students as young as 5 and as old as 65. I've worked with students with a variety of special needs, most of them mental needs.
