We are a full-service, high-quality recording studio located in Highland Park, NJ. We offer production, recording, mixing, mastering, and hourly lessons to all ages in audio engineering, guitar, bass, drums, piano, etc.
We have a lovely staff of experienced, professional musicians who truly value the power of music.

I love being able to spend every hour of every day listening to/working on music. It's super rewarding to see a student go from not knowing which string is which, to playing a full song front to back.
I started teaching at the age of 16 at the YMCA. I'd teach up to 5 students at a time every Saturday morning for 2-3 hours. After doing this for a while, I decided to start taking my teaching skills more seriously. I began to teach private lessons around town and found a passion for it.
Guitar - 10+ years experience (rock bands, albums, tours, etc)
Bass - 10+ years experience (jazz band, pep band, etc)

When I meet a student & parents for the first time, I approach the situation with an easy-to-understand philosophy. I plan my lessons based on the student's interests, musical taste, and musical goals. It all comes down to patience, practice, and perseverence. Each lesson is an opportunity to perfect what you did last week, as well as learn a few new riffs, scales, chords, etc, depending on what is being studied at the time. There's always time to be productive and learn more.
All ages, all backgrounds, from the non-motivated to the dedicated. There's always a challenge to overcome.
-Find someone down to earth
-Find someone you won't mind spending an hour with every week
-Find someone who's going to push you, challenge you, and guide you rather than telling you "you're great" the whole time.
I recently left my job at a private music school in Metuchen, NJ. Upon leaving, most of my students were very sad to see me go,o the point where their parents felt the need to contact me directly. My students simply didn't want to take lessons from anyone else. I do my best to leave a lasting impression and to positively influence with music.
