About Canan

My name isMy name is Canan Jones I am 22 years old and have been playing guitar since I was 10 years old. I spent my high school years in various bands then in college I was a touring musician between classes and on breaks. And I am looking forward to teaching the guitar to eager students. I am prepared to teach anywhere from beginner students to well seasoned musicians. Feel free to contact me for more details. (concealed information)

Music is the most enjoyable thing in life to me. With that being said I am looking forward to showing and teaching the gift of music to other people.

I used to teach guitar lessons while in college it started out as a way to get extra money but I fell in love with it.

I was a touring musician for 3 years and I have played guitar since I was 10.

About the lesson

First of all I will assess the student to determine their individual skill level. After this I will create unique lessons plans for each student. But the core of every lesson will be based on music fundamentals.

I have worked with a wide range of skill levels anywhere from beginners to advanced level players.

I would say don't give up music is one of the most fun but also most frustrating things. I will do my best to keep things light and fun while also being progressive in our journey to musical knowledge.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Think about what kind of player you want to be. It really helps if you come in with a positive attitude and a goal. If we both have a goal for you to become a better player then I have no doubt we will achieve that goal.

1/2 hour - $25

(I would like to stay within 40 miles of my location but I am willing to travel further that can be discussed on a case by case basis)
