I've been a musician for over 10 years and play guitar, bass and drums. I provide students the fundamentals to either begin their musical careers, build advance techniques or learn to improvise and create music.

I begin by learning what stage they are currently at, the type of music they listen to and want to play, and their goals. After hearing and seeing them play I can create a lesson plan tailored to that student. This allows the student to progress much faster by focusing on key aspects of their technique and musicianship.
One of the most important things a student should look for in a teacher is someone that plays a similar genre as you and that you can connect with. Someone skilled in your genre of music will help you take your playing to the next level faster.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Are you learning as a fun hobby or to go out and perform shows? Do you want to learn and cover songs for a gig? Would you like to learn how to write, record and perform original music? The skills you need to do either of these efficiently are are different and your teacher should be aware of your goals to focus teaching you those skills.
