With hundreds of successful students and five years of full-time teaching experience, you can trust me to coach you to achieve your musical goals.

Your musical goals are my passion. I want to see you in a band. I want to see you strumming your ukulele on the beach. I want to see you sign up for an open mic.

Raised in Nashville, Tennessee (music city), I was fortunate to grow up in a very musical family. As soon as I learned a chord on the guitar or a drumbeat, I was teaching it to my cousins and friends. I've been spreading musical knowledge as long as I can remember, but I've had the privilege to make teaching my profession for half a decade.

Thankfully, I have had the pleasure of being a full-time private music educator for the past five years, bringing my love and passion for music to the lives of hundreds of students. Whether it's guitar, banjo, bass, mandolin, piano, harmonica, drums, or ukulele; bringing YOUR musical potential to the forefront is my number one goal.

About the lesson

We'll focus on the songs that you want to learn. We'll examine the techniques needed to perform those songs. And, most importantly, we'll find material to fit your current skill level while preparing you for your musical future.

My students have ranged in age from 5 to 85. I have worked with students with special needs, brain injuries, and physical limitations. The power and joy of music is univeral, regardless of any situation we find ourselves in.

Age, gender, and cultural upbringing will NOT keep you from your musical goals. Geoff Colvin, a retired economist and author of "Talent is overrated" discovered that 'musically gifted' people simply practice more... Do you have 10 minutes a day to practice?

Recitals for my students are always a joy. The last recital I attended for my current students was a chance for them to shine and perform rehearsed material before an audience.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Do YOU honestly have time to practice? Do you have 10 minutes a day to work through your homework? The best way to create a new habit is to attach it to a habit you already have. You make coffee every morning? That's a perfect time to practice music for 10 minutes. If you can squeeze in 10 minutes a day, then you're ready for music lessons.
