I have not tried a private instructor and so my opinion may seem unresearched. However, I did try recently an online course through a prominent university and dropped out. found that Anthony has The image ability to pick up right away on the strengths and weaknesses I have and opened a whole new Musical world to discover the joy of learning again, making it challenging just enough and keeping it fun. I look forward to every lesson. I am away for a few weeks and he even then has given me a challenging enough remote lesson to keep me thinking and learning. Great guy, awesome teacher and clever musician!

I've been with Anthony for over 20 years (believe it or not). Please understand, it is NOT because it took me this long to learn; it's that every time I see Anthony for a lesson, I learn something new! He has shown me how to play, using traditional music theory, ear-training and various kinds of reading techniques (TAB, notation, chord charts, etc.). He allows me to bring in specific material. He has a way of getting directly to the heart of things, always rendering quick results, BUT sneaking in the theory behind it. I guess you can say I'm a lifelong student. There's always something new to learn. As for Anthony's character, he's as good as they come. You won't be disappointed!

Anthony is extremely knowledgeable, professional, and easy to work with. He set up and repaired eight of my guitars beautifully and quickly. I also asked him to tab out an onscure Australian pop song from the 80s from a handmade CD someone had given me; he was spot on and I now perform the song with my band, thanks to him and his expertise!

Anthony is an amazing musician and teacher who is willing to implement many different approaches to help facilitate learning your instrument. First, Anthony has the ability to relate to all age groups, adults, teens and younger kids alike. Secondly, he is an extremely skilled and experienced musician on multiple instruments including vocals, for me personally he has helped me expand my guitar playing and singing, as well as helping me get started on keys. But I think most importantly he doesn’t push any agendas on you. He finds out what your interests are and helps you improve the areas you need to work on to get you where you want to be. By far the best teacher both I and my 18 yr old daughter have ever had. He will hep you achieve your goals.
