About Mollybeth

I offer an approach to teaching that is engaging and interactive. Graphic designs and other forms of design extend beyond the computer screen. It is important to engage in other forms of design through experimentation of different mediums as this approach broadens our understanding of the creative possibilities that our minds can extend to.

I have been actively designing for ten years in many ways and through many forms of medium. Consistently learning new ways of approach and staying up to date with the latest technology available. I am skilled in Adobe Creative Suites, Revit and AutoCAD to name a few.

Your student will find a new understanding of their abilities with my help. I have a conceptual approach that is thought provoking and unique.

I love that as a designer I have the ability to positively impact people's lives. I have learned that when we design with the purpose of making the world a better place, we find meaning and purpose in hidden places.

I have found a deep-seated calling and obligation to help create a more inclusive world. Everyone offers a different perspective of the world and it is my belief that if we can open our minds to possibilities that exist beyond what we have been taught, we become a more inclusive world. Teaching is an incredible way to give someone access to their full potential.

I received my BFA in Interior Design from the prestigious Pratt Institute. My designs encompass creativity and authenticity, always beginning with a concept that is carried throughout the entire design process. While working in New York City as an Interior Designer and Graphic Designer, I designed a wide variety of

projects including things such as print material, social media and web graphics, presentation and PDF documents, and engaging business presentations.

I have mastered Adobe Creative Suites including InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator along with AutoCAD and Revit.

About the lesson

First, we will establish an appropriate line of communication that makes the most sense for both parties. Upon speaking to my client, I will ask questions to determine their learning style and preferred teaching methods. There are many different styles of learning so it is crucial to teach in the most efficient way possible that will be conducive to the individual.

I have mostly worked with interior design students, helping in areas such as graphic presentation, Revit, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suites.

Make sure you find a teacher that you connect with. If you have similar values, the process will be much easier and more efficient.
