About Rick
20+ years of experience in the field.
Several years experience teaching students online.
Many years of teaching small groups.
I have made my living on these subjects since 1997. I know them well and continually update myself on the latest trends and changes.
I began teaching as a pastor and continued teaching after I moved to web development. For the last several years I have taught online high school students in the fields of web development and graphic design, as well as networking.
I have a Masters degree in Theology and a bachelor's degree in Political Science. I have spent years in teaching, and 20+ years in making my living by working as a web designer and desktop publisher.

My first concern is to evaluate the student's current abilities and their best method of learning. Are they a quick-study, or do they need more time to grasp a lesson? Are they best at visual learning, or can they absorb reading material well? How much hands on do they require, etc?
High School and Adult
Experience is critical, but it is also important to have someone who knows how to communicate the ideas and concepts.

How much work do I want to do in between sessions?
How well does my instructor know the subject?
