About Mark

Mark Reid is the #1 ranked instructor for golf lessons in Irvine. Mark has been teaching golf for over 28 years and is a former 10 year David Leadbetter Certified Instructor & a Member of the PGA. Mark specializes in long term development of your whole golf game, golf swing, short game and golf course management during playing lessons. All golf lessons are one-on-one, no group lessons.

The mechanics of the golf swing and short game have always fascinated me from the day I started playing golf. I realized earlier in my career that I was destined to be a teacher and not a player. I began teaching at 21 and have done so until today.

Mark worked for the David Leadbetter Golf Academy for over 10 years in Austria, Spain, England, USA and conducted clinics in India, Bolivia, Portugal, Canada and Brazil. Mark was Academy Director at Mount Juliet Resort in Ireland and Head of the College Prep program at the Leadbetter Junior Academy in Bradenton, Florida. Mark is a member of the PGA.

About the lesson

On arrival for your golf lesson Mark will ask you how often you play and practice. What is the issue at hand with your golf game? Your golf swing will be recorded with an iPad and your swing issues will be highlighted showing you the faults and fixes. Anything you view or hear during your video analysis will be recorded and emailed to you later for view online.

Mark works with all levels of golfers, from beginners, boys and girls, adults, college players, mimi tour players and tour players.

The key to a golf instructor is knowledge, how long they been teaching and if they teach full time.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
What is your commitment? Are you willing to put the time and dedication in. Golf takes a lot of time and concentrated focus. Without this commitment from the student, progress will be slow.
