About Brent

A seasoned professional with 25 years experience working at country clubs, privately owned and public golf courses. Host to the 2005 Utah Open in Saratoga Springs, Utah. Has worked with all levels of players from scratch handicaps to beginners molding their golf swings to achieve the success they desire. Elected to membership in the PGA in August of 2007.

Have been directly responsible for the corporate golf programs with Salt Lake County. Also conduct and direct the men's and ladies associations at Riverbend Golf Course, as well as oversee the junior golf instruction program.

A natural progression with PGA membership, I enjoy teaching because it is rewarding to see the smile of the student when they are seeing results and success from instruction.

Attended Utah Valley University, receiving an Associate Degree in Business Management.

Class A PGA member, elected to membersip in 2007.

All lessons begin with a 10-15 minute interview with the student. With this process I can understand how the student learns, gain an understanding of the goals, and how quickly they want to progress. I also find out other hobbies and interests so I can relate to them in their jargon, and how golf applies to them, their life, and their swing.

Men, ladies, and children of all ages. Have worked with all types of players from the beginning student to the scratch golfer.

Seek and find a golf instructor whom you are comfortable with and can work with on a personal and professional level. Establishing a repoire with each student is of my highest priority.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
What are my goals for golf?

How fast or slow do I want to progress?

Am I looking to my instructor to become a great player, or just gain an understanding of golf so I am comfortable on the course?
