About Jason

With 20 years of coaching experience I can help players of all skill levels find more fun in the game. With a systematic approach I can help you with a step by step approach.

I'm passionate about the golf swing. I have made a positive influence to the game coaching juniors, high school players, and collegiate players. I have coached players 6 years of age to 83 years of age. My love of the game and interacting with golfers has helped me develop a great eye for the swing and how to communicate complex ideas in a digestible manner. .

I use the app Onform with records your swing and I can give detailed voice over to highlight key swing ideas we are improving.

Appreciate your interest and hope to see you soon.

Jason Anderson

(concealed information)

I started teaching junior clinics with the Nike Golf Learning centers in 2001. I run the junior camps at Deer Creek and hosted over 400 kids since 2016.

I've recently re-enrolled in the PGA PGM program. Prior to that I was a level 2 PGA pro. I've taught in Minnesota, Colorado, and Arizoana. I've have over 10,000 vidoes on my HUDL account.

I continue to be a student of the game and I'm always asking quesitons about how others succeed.

About the lesson

Typically I ask the student what their goal is? After I find out their patterns, I try to educate them on cause and effect. For example an inside out swing path can lead to push shots, or hooks. If a player is not aware of how the shot is created, they stand little chance of correcting.

I have worked with all types of students, kids, teens, men and women and seniors of all abilities. I currently have high school players on both boys and girls teams. Two are state contenders.

Perfect! Jason is great, really knows how to help you without drastically changing anything. Just a lot of little things that add up to a lot fewer strokes. Would highly recommend.

Perfect! I liked Jason. He helped me make better contact with the ball, using an adjusted grip. Hope to work with again when normalcy returns.

Perfect! Jason seemed to do more for me in one lesson that other instructors have in five. I found his instructions to be understandable and implementable. He made my changes feel uncomplicated and I was able to repeat my new grip without too much stress. I played the next day and was astonished how much better my ball striking was. My plan is to work on the grip change at the driving range and on the course for a few weeks and then go back for Lesson 2 to build on what I learned in lesson 1. All in all, I highly recommend Jason.

Golf is hard, and the swing takes a lifetime to master, but Jason took me from a 16 handicap down to a 7 over the course of a summer. He knows the swing inside and out and adapts well to the individual needs of each golfer. You will leave each lesson more confident and excited to play. Plus, he makes the process fun. If you truly want to get better and are willing to put in the work, Jason at Tru Swing Golf Academy is the breakthrough you have been searching for.

Jason is great to work with for golfers at all levels. He's patient, professional, reasonable, and doesn't overwhelm golfers with too many corrections at one time to think about. My swing has greatly improved since working with Jason and so have my scores.
