About Arthur

I am extremely patient and keep things simple so it's easy and enjoyable to understand...and I've played golf my whole life. I taught my own kids to play and they are now both 3 handicaps(25 yrs old & 30 yrs old now). Have won several father son and father daughter championships.

I really enjoy seeing people learn the game "and" more importantly enjoy the game.

I lived on a course and when I had kids, I got them each 3 clubs and told them.."follow me". They quickly got the bug and are now all very established golfers. Over the years I have also nbeen asked by several friends to help them with their game. People like the way I teach.

I have played thousands of rounds of golf all over the world and have taught my kids and several friends.

About the lesson

I typically will watch them for 15-20 minutes on several different areas to decide what they already know. After that I will work one one aspect at a time.

I have only worked with my kids, from when they were very young up through their high school years. I have also helped with my kid's friends, and several of my personal friends.

Find a teacher that is patient, because the game can be quite humbling in the beginning.

I won the Father Son Championship with my oldest son, after winning it with my youngest son the previous two years. It was the final year of my membership up north at a club that I had played at for 30 years, so it meant a great deal to me to win one with him before I retired my membership.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Is this a game where I won't mind struggling to learn. How often do I need to practice. How important is the equipment in the beginning.
