David S. Hollar is a seasoned golf professional with over 20 years of experience teaching golfers. His journey in the sport began at Guilford College in Greensboro, North Carolina, where he not only learned his skills but also represented the school as a dedicated member of the golf team. After demonstrating his commitment to the game, David transferred to Fairfield University, where he embraced the challenge of playing as a walk-on athlete. His passion for golf and competitive spirit propelled him through college, laying the groundwork for a lifelong connection to the sport. Following his collegiate career, David participated in numerous amateur tournaments, further refining his skills and developing a keen understanding of the game. It was during this time that he discovered his innate talent for teaching and sharing his love for golf with others. For more than two decades, David has been offering private lessons, helping golfers of all ages and skill levels achieve their goals. His dedication to his students and his personalized approach to instruction have garnered him glowing reviews, solidifying his reputation as an exceptional coach. David continues to inspire and cultivate the next generation of golfers, fostering their growth both on and off the course.

David blew my mind with the amount of information he knew about swing mechanics. David is the epitome of patience !!!!

I received video analysis right after my lesson with many how to videos pertaining to my swing.

David is by far the best instructor I’ve experienced. And I’ve had a lot of instructors through the years. I will be going back for my lessons.
