About Jeff

Hit'em straight, but not often!

I started playing golf at age seven. I continued through my career with experiences in high school and college. Played on the Hogan Tour at the time for two years, as well as teaching lessons. I will reach my 40th year playing golf next year. I also have a degree in education. Please look me up for some quality lessons

Seeing the expression on the face of a student that hits that sweet spot for the first time.

After my experience with the Hogan Tour early in my life, I began teaching at a local driving range to help young kids join the game. As I progressed, I started teaching adults as a weekend job.

After many referrals, my teaching schedule became full time.

I have a degree in education and have played golf for almost 40 years. I have continued to instruct students for nearly 20 years.

About the lesson

A brief discussion of the new students expectations is a good start to achieving successful goals. Once completed, a review of the students current golf knowledge and skills. Then a basic overview and practice skills. After the first lesson, a structured guide and lesson plan is reviewed.

I have worked with all types of students and will continue to do so. I have even taught a few local pros.

Contact the teacher first over the phone. Ask your questions and give that teacher a chance to understand your concerns and goals. Then meet at a local driving range or course and proceed with the first class.

I won the chance to play golf at Sawgrass in Florida. It was a day in which I was treated like a pro.

I also attended a round at the 2015 Masters.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
What do you enjoy about golf, what do you dislike. What are your goals and have you written them down. Why do you want to learn golf. What will be your dedication level. How much money do you want to spend for golf and equipment. Golf is difficult, can you handle the challenges.
