About Diane

I have been a Speech/Language Pathologist since 1981, receiving my M.Ed. from Northeastern University. Since 1983 I have maintained my Certificate of Clinical Competence from The American Speech, Language, Hearing Association, my Professional License from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and my Massachusetts Educator’s License. The scope of my experience includes working with the communication skills of children from age three to adults of age 80. My services have addressed articulation disorders, language delays and disorders, ESL students, fluency disorders, and the loss of language in adults with brain injuries. The past 6 years I have been working exclusively with clients on accent modification.

I have a passion for working with adult clients working to improve their pronunciation of Standard American English in order for more effective communication skills in all aspects of their life in (professional, social, pesonal). I enjoy making and using my own materials customized to individual clients based on their particular needs.

I find great satisfaction in helping people become more effective communicators. Being able to verbally express yourself intelligibly is vital in all aspects of life, education, professional, business, social and personal. I am confident that I can help you.
