About Donna

As an immigrant that overcame a speech impediment. My clients immediate can hear the success I have personally experienced from phonetic based instruction programs.

Communication in any form to me is the heartbeat of life. Being able to express yourself, inquire about information and or share information and knowledge is powerful.

Using a modified classical phonetic approach that allows learners to have fun while overcoming real life communication challenges has been remarkably successful and rewarding.

It started with a startling disbelieve that I had a speech impediment and my life long joke of describing the difference between an accent and a speech impediment.

An accent is native to a location, region, country etc. while other people may not be able to understand you clearly usually your countrymen can.

A speech impediment is evident when your own family members ask... "What did she say".

After the laughs and conversation about my living and learning accent reduction history my Greek Professor, asked if I would tutor him. He had, by the way, previously purchased a very prestigious accent reduction program. This was a tremendous affirmation to me and the beginning of my tutoring career.

I was instructed through the Romalda Spalding - Writing Road to Reading Programs.

I have modified these classical basic instructions into a fun filled artstic program that allow learners to let their guard and insecurities down and dive into

I have been a private home-school instructor and teacher for over 15 years.

About the lesson

Online or in person using phonetic based programs

I rarely travel to clients.

I work with students of from K-12 and cognitive adults of all ages.

One size does not fit all. I believe that even labels now say "One size fits most". Make sure to find a teacher that both fits your leaning needs and learning style. And most importunately have fun!

I recently received the keys to my own offices after looking at the space on an off for over the past decade. It was truly euphoric.

Is there someone who's speaking pattern I admire and why? Is it clear? Do they sound cool? Classy? Assertive?
