About Daelyn
I’m Daelyn (she/her), a 21 year-old Child and Youth Studies/Concurrent Education student at Brock University with a strong background in tutoring individuals of all ages and abilities. I began tutoring in 2020, offering free sessions in exchange for donations to Participation House, a long-term care home for adults with disabilities. Through this initiative, I raised $700 and was honored to be offered a position as a Social Events Coordinator at just 15 years old! Since then, I’ve continued working with children and youth in various educational roles and expanded my knowledge during my university experience. I currently work as a supply teacher and educational assistant, and with flexible hours in my schedule, I’m excited to return to tutoring and support students in their learning journey.

As a future educator (and current supply teacher/educational assistant for YCDSB), I bring a thoughtful approach to every teaching role I take on. Not only have I been providing tutoring services for the past five years, but I’ve also gained hands-on experience through my work as a Social Events Coordinator in a long-term care home for adults with disabilities and a Peer Assistant for the Human Rights and Equity Office at Brock University. I ensure that every tutoring lesson is tailored to the unique needs and interests of each student. I provide all materials for lessons based on what each student needs most help with, but can also provide assistance with homework help. I think I would be a fantastic fit for your tutoring needs; please reach out if you have any questions at all!
