About Tyler
My name is Tyler, and I have been a musician since the fourth grade! Currently, I am a sophomore music education major at Ithaca College, with a a concentration in euphonium and trombone. I specialize in beginning band lessons and brass pedagogy.
The only formal instrument education that I have is a High School band Education, but beyond that, I perform with six different ensembles, with over 150 performances done.

Typically when working with a student, I teach them the basics; ex: reading music, how to hold instrument, etc;. After this, I begin working with the student on short, easy songs that will progressively get more difficult.
I have worked with mostly children under the age of 13 who have no previous instrumental experience.
