About Victoria
As a current college student, I understand the requirements needed for any child to succeed in school. I am a college student athlete, so I have learned how important it is to keep up with school work.
Almost every summer, I have volunteered my time as an aide for students with special needs. My duties included reading with students, helping them with arts and crafts, and assisting their teachers where needed. While I've haven't taken on the role of a tutor professionally before, I think my age and experience with and as a student makes it easy and fun to connect with children.
As I mentioned, I have spent many summers (at least 3 summers), volunteering with children with special needs in the nearby school district (HBUHSD). On top of that, I have even more years of babysitting experience, meaning I understand the attention span and need of younger students. As a high schooler, I worked to help incoming freshmen and sophomore transition into high school, as well as helping them with any needs educationally. Throughout highschool, I took ten AP classes and a handful of honors classes in Math, Science, English, Spanish, and History. Now in college, I am majoring in Psychology in preparation to apply for law school.

Details
I am quite new this business, so depending on the hours, age of the student, and the amount and type of work, I would be willing to negotiate with parents. Especially during this pandemic, I understand that the quality of learning your children may be experiencing may be drastically different.
