About Skye
Which as a teenager that will be going into English education when going to collage the fall of 2022.
This doesnt just benefit the child but myself as well. Being able to understand how to teach something I love!
Currently I am in Advanced Placement (AP) English Language Composition, Creative Writing, and Journalistic Writng
This experience will be different. This is because instead of giving homework or a lot of time to do stuff, but I am going to make sure the child understands the concepts before leaving the call. This will help prevent the need to stress and anxiety when it comes to understanding the material and talking about it.
The concepts will be through books/passages from articles
I loved coaching the elementary school kids in my sport which made me want to become a teacher when I'm older.
I am in a high level english class with a couple of other english courses along with the class

I will make sure I know who the student is and what they are struggling in first(concept). Then from there, finding the best way to teach that student because not student learns the same.
I love working with young childern as they are full of energy and lif when it comes to learning!
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Understand what the student needs help in. If its a concept or would just like teaching.
Also, understanding how they learn. If that means through flashcards, activities, etc.
